Hey there, I'm Alex, also known as MutoX.
I love challenging my creativity and bringing it to fruition.
In here you will find my blog spot and portofolio.
Check them out if you're interested!
From early on as a kid...
I enjoyed programming. My first contact with a programming language was Lua, as I used it to make custom levels for a mobile game called Pewpew Live. Playing my first level after finally finishing it was a moment of pure joy. That spark of creativity planted a seed.
As time went on...
the hobby kept going and the seed kept growing as I got interested in game development. Trying to make games with Unity, I learned C# and music composition. That being said, I failed a lot, but each time I learned more and more and I came to learn how to utilize my failures to bring success.
Growing and evolving...
I got interested in software engineering in general. With a couple of friends, we gathered as a team, the Hybroid Team, and made a domain-specific programming language called Hybroid, which turned out very well. After that and a couple of small projects, we come to today. At this point in time I'm building my own game engine called universe, it's open source!
But that's not all!
Throughout the course of this long-lasting programming excursion, I've also started and ended many hobbies. There were a few that stuck around though. Pixel art was and still is an important hobby for me, with my first drawing being 7 years ago. Playing video games is also something I'll never get bored of, simply because it's a fun activity with friends and it inspires me.
